Very special traditional aromatic South Indian Andhra native, Naatu biryani rice, is an extremely fine variety from Desi Paddy seeds, very thin & lean and lengthy grain rice and tasty rice variety often used to prepare pulao and biryani. With a relatively low glycemic index of 50, it is a table rice that can be served every day.

Non Hybrid Desi rice -These are white when it is fully polished, thin varieties. This rice is fat free and sodium free. It is low in calories, low in glucose content and helps in boosting the immune system. very good rice for daily use.

This rice variety was developed by expert organic farmer and seed conservationist Bore Gowda from Mandya, Karnataka many years back. He named the rice Sidda Sanna, in memory of his parents Siddegowda and Sannamma

Siddasanna is a small, fine grained rice, similar to Sona masuri, it is gaining in popularity with organic farmers and consumers. It is very popular for its great cooking consistency and taste. When cooked, the rice has a nutty flavor and mixes well with all kinds of Indian curries. This rice is good for puliyogarai, vangi baath, lemon rice and is easy to cook.
