The Kashmir Willow bats have finally arrived in the international cricketing world. For the first time in the last 75 years, two international cricket players used the Kashmir willow bats in the T-20 world cup, which was held in Dubai recently. This development has changed the fate of Kashmir's Willow bat industry.
Kashmir willow cricket bats are favorites amongst the professional and amateur cricket batsmen. These cricket bats are known for their superior stroke-play, enhanced sweet spots, and high shock-absorption.
Kashmir Willow are used in the production of bats as it is very tough and shock resistance, durable as well as very light in weight. That is the reason Kashmir willow bats are used by the professional cricket players.
All natural faced bats must be treated using raw linseed or a specialist cricket bat oil. The main purpose of oiling is to maintain moisture levels within the blade, and hence reduce the chances of cracking and splitting.
Roughly, a cricket bat lasts about 1000-1500 runs, including practice. A bat will last for three or four seasons, or even just one depending on the usage of the player and how nicely he/she maintain it after.
